APGA claims two State Assembly seats –

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that Oteigbanyo George-Braah of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) has won the Bayelsa State Assembly Nembe Constituency 1 seat.

Okeke summed up the resulting figures further, declaring Hon. Ben-Ololo of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), who is running for a third term, got 2,356 votes, while Kenneth Standfast of the All Progressive Congress (APC) won 485 votes.

Also, APGA’s Waikumo Amakoromo defeated his opponent Hon by 4971 votes in Yenagoa Constituency 2, considered the PDP stronghold. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai of the PDP, an incumbent lawmaker who has served two terms.
