An In-Depth Look At Britney Spears’ Brother Bryan’s Relationship

Given everything that has occurred during Britney Spears’ conservatorship, it’s no surprise that she and her family are at odds. Jamie Spears, her father, had complete control over her finances, body, and life for years. Britney’s mother, Lynne, and younger sister, Jamie Lynn, did nothing to stop him.

Britney’s brother, Bryan, is another immediate family member about whom we don’t hear much. She also invited Bryan to her wedding, despite keeping her distance from her parents and sister. Does this imply that they’re in a good place with each other? Keep scrolling to learn more about Bryan Spears.

Britney’s older brother, Bryan Spears, was born in 1977, four years before Britney. He is a TV and film producer, according to IMDb, and has previously worked on a number of Jamie Lynn projects, including Zoey 101 episodes. He’s the only immediate family member of Britney Spears who spoke out in the New York Times documentary Framing Britney Spears in 2021, despite his preference for staying out of the spotlight.

Jamie Lynn’s talent manager was Bryan Spears’ first wife.

Bryan was previously married to Graciella Sanchez, Jamie Lynn’s talent manager, which is an interesting fact about him. Lexie Spears was born to them in 2011 after they married in 2008.

They divorced in 2017, and things got messy, according to The Sun. Bryan was ordered by a judge in August 2021 to pay Graciella a sizable child support payment.

Good news, right? The eldest Spears child appears to have left the nest. In 2020, he shared a photo of himself with Amber, whom he referred to as his “lady” on Instagram.

Did Bryan ever support Britney’s conservatorship? Continue reading below advertisement

Bryan appears to have benefited from his sister’s conservatorship, based on what has been made public about Bryan and Britney’s relationship. He was a trustee of a trust set up in Britney’s name, according to NBC News.

After a few months in conservatorship, a judge approved over a million dollars in payouts to Britney’s supporters in 2008.

Bryan received a $200,000 payment from his sister for assisting her prior to the conservatorship. Jamie, on the other hand, had already been hired by the popstar and had even been given a raise.

“Jamie, Lynne, and Spears’ brother, Bryan,” according to the New Yorker, “had all spent years on Spears’s payroll, and, as friends who spoke with her at the time recalled, she was increasingly resentful of their efforts to influence her.”

However, it’s unclear how much money he received and whether it was different from what other people were paid.

In July 2020, he spoke publicly for the first time about Britney’s conservatorship, admitting that it was “frustrating” for her, but he appeared to support it overall.

“She’s wanted to get out of it since she was a kid.” On an episode of the As Not Seen on TV podcast, he said, “Having it is very frustrating.” “Having someone constantly tell you to do something has got to be frustrating, whether they’re coming in peace to help or coming in with an attitude.” Bryan continued, “She’s been wanting to get out of it for a long time.”

However, he later stated that his sister’s conservatorship had “been a great thing for our family, to this point, and [we] keep hoping for the best,” making it difficult to determine who he truly supported.

“I would honestly like to sue my family, to be completely honest with you,” Britney told the judge during a court appearance in July 2021, indicating that she was at odds with the entire Spears family.

It’s possible, however, that Bryan’s feelings about the conservatorship have changed, or that he has attempted to repair his relationship with Britney. He appeared to be content after her conservatorship ended in November 2021. “Have a wonderful Independence Day in the United Kingdom!” He captioned a family photo on Instagram with, “Proud of you Brit!”

We can only hope that whoever is currently in Britney’s life treats her with the dignity she deserves.
