A French judge has questioned Pippa Middleton’s father-in-law about claims that he raped a 16-year-old girl.


A French judge is alleged to have questioned PIPPA Middleton’s father-in-law about allegations that he raped a 16-year-old woman, 4 years after the allegations first surfaced.

Judge Jean Rea is alleged to have interrogated David Matthews on June 16 and December 7 of final 12 months in Paris.

Between 1998 and 1999, the 78-year-old entrepreneur is accused of rapping the then-adolescent twice.

It was allegedly first in Paris after which in St Barts, the place he owns the £5,000-a-night Eden Rock lodge.

After being arrested as he flew into Paris from the Caribbean in April 2018, the previous racing driver, whose son James married the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister in 2017, was first questioned by police.

Before being charged with two counts of rape, he spent 48 hours in custody.

He vehemently denies the allegations.

The case was handed to a judge to resolve whether or not to proceed to a full trial, however attributable to judicial delays and the Covid pandemic, the case has dragged on for years.

The cаse is “ongoing,” аccording to а courtroom spokesmаn in Pаris, who аlso stаted thаt “no heаring dаte hаs been set.”

Mr Mаtthews declined to remark.
